LA Transportation is a transportation service created exclusively to transport children to and from school, daycare, after-school activities, recreational programs, etc.
Unlike a taxi service, LA Transportation will provide transportation exclusively for children. All of our drivers will undergo a background check by the Massachusetts State Police for any legal infractions.
These drivers will possess an R.MV. approved driver’s license in compliance, EEC training certification, and a Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificate. They must also genuinely care about the welfare of children.
LA Transportation was founded in 1994 by Juana Linares. The early stages of our company focused on a mission of providing transportations services to friends and families in the community and we have grown with the exact same DNA. In 2014 Carlos Alvarado, son of Juana joined the team to expand services and help the team grow and reach new horizons in all of the North Shore. We have continued to work with the same core principles that Juana founded the company with and our team has now grown to a 14 employee company.
During the past several years, we have researched the rapidly growing industry of children’s transportation. With the busy schedules of dual working parents, there is a conflict in getting their children to day care, preschool, sports activities, appointments, etc. More and more parents and organizations are looking for alternative ways to transport their children without affecting their work and school schedule.
The mission of LA Transportation is to provide a safe, licensed transportation service for children at a reasonable price to parents and organizations alike. By achieving our goals, we have become a trusted, viable transportation source to parents and organizations alike in the North Shore.
